almost everyone on your friends list has posted a bulletin...today.

There's a little bug that's been crawling around my computer screen for about a half hour now. I'm just going to let him chill there.

I wonder why the first thing in a lot of people's "about me" section is their age. It seems strange that the one thing that people have the least amount of control over is the one thing they use to define themselves.

What does that mean?

There's a story in the Bible about a guy named Jonathan, and an army and some honey on the end of a stick. I'm not sure why, but I think there's an answer in there somewhere. And if not to this question, to some question anyways.

Persuasive Essay for school

Dating can be a tricky thing. Filled with drama, heartbreak, and premarital sex, it seems that there are almost no decent guys left. But even though many guys may be rude, jerks, or just not worth dating, there is still some hope for the single woman. I, Patrick Wilcox, am a decent guy, and single girls should want to date me.

Upon meeting me for the first time, any single lady should find the first reason they want to date me almost immediately: I have a beard. Yes indeed, many men at my age, and even older do not posses the ability to grow a beard nearly as thick as mine. A nice beard instantly makes any guy the envy of any man and the desire of every woman. In addition to all this, I have only been growing this beard for three weeks, and it is sure that in the future the beard will only get more rich and full.

An equally convincing reason will not be discovered by the girl until later. I, while mildly cool on my own, am only made cooler by the awesome friends with whom I keep company. Although my proposed date will meet Judah McCarthy or Jon Crawford right away, as Michigan could not contain their coolness and they had to move away, she may be introduced to amazing kids like Shayn Fernandez, Joel Storey, Jeremy Thayer, Lucas Charles McKay, Thomas McSweeny, and Bethany Munson. If the beard alone is not enough to impress her, such friends who are so kind and inviting and fun to hang around will surely increase my chances.

The third and final reason that single woman should flock to my bachelordom is that I would make a great boyfriend. I am considerate of other people and I would try my hardest not to hurt her feelings. I am respectful of women and I would not try to make unwanted advances. I also would buy her presents on Valentine’s Day, her birthday, Christmas, and even Sweetest Day. I would call her and hang out with her often enough to make her feel loved and secure, without being too overbearing. Also, I would bring her chocolates and flowers from time to time.

I am not claiming to be the most perfect guy, but I do think that I am dateable. I think that girls are naturally attracted to my beard, my choice of friends, and my nice attitude towards girls. I have high standards but am not closed-minded when it comes to the ladies. I think that they should, if they are looking for a guy, give me a chance, and I am confident that I would not let them down. I’m sure you all know where to call!

I'm tired and it's late. I've been wanting to update this for a while and it just seems like I haven't had it in me. I'm realizing that I've really been tired lately. Or...maybe it's not even that, either way I just have no creative energy. I get spurts here and there. I'm really glad it's break. Finals weren't too bad. I'm looking forward to next year. 2007. I watched Home Alone tonight. I really enjoyed it. I'm tired.

I want to give up.
